The product line (cellwan by SC Robotics) features a Quectel SoC that enables Cellular LPWAN connectivity as well as GNSS data acquisition. The device is targeted to the logistics and security industries, but thanks to the included expansion port, our clients are expanding its uses in many innovative ways. We use it as the backbone for most of our low power and global network access solutions.

Some of the applications that our clients have been using our device for include GIS, remote kill-switches or anti-vandalism/theft. Through the expansion port we’ve developed applications for water & gas metering, leak detection and environmental sensing.

Cellular LPWAN

The advantages of Cellular LPWAN networks versus other communication protocols are a few:
